Along with those who want to ride west along Historic Route 66, from Chicago to Santa Monica

to San Diego, CA. In collaboration with local Veteran’s Organizations, and… 

With sponsors of Hampton Inns, Westinghouse Corp., Home-Town Buffet, NFL Alumni, …

 

This ride is dedicated to our Veterans and their families.

Those who have so willingly served their fellowman and need services 

not typically provided by government programs.

 

All Proceeds go to the Veteran’s Non-Profit,

“Service for Humanity Foundation”

and other local Veteran charities.

 

The events start in Chicago on 11 September honoring the memory of the tenth year from 9-11,

with a Memorial Service to promote 9-11 as the National Day of Forgiveness.

 Then with the first of several “Holes for Heroes” golf tournaments on 12 September,

Sponsored by the local Rotary Club

The next day we start riding west to Saint Louis, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque,

Flagstaff, Las Vegas and Santa Monica, CA. Then the grand finale in San Diego. The home

of the first  “Hole for Heroes” five years  ago by the Downtown San Diego Breakfast Club.

In each of these cities we will stop for a day of competition and fun and have another

“Holes  for Heroes” golf tournament.  From each city “Chef Roc and the Joc” will do a live

show at a local eatery, as well as, other stopping points along the route. 

You are welcome to join us anywhere along the way.

Three weeks of riding and seeing the sites of time gone by on Route 66, eating great food of

the local cultures and enjoying the game of golf… All While supporting our military families.
